Dorothea Lange
One of the preeminent and pioneering documentary photographers of the 20th century, Dorothea Lange was born Dorothea Nutzhorn on May 26, 1895, in Hoboken, New Jersey. Died on October 11, 1965 (aged 70) San Francisco, California.
Migrant Mother
A mother in California who with her husband and her two children will be returned to Oklahoma by the Relief Administration. This family had lost a two-year-old baby during the winter as a result of exposure.
I like this picture because it shows how they're families out there that have nothing and the ones that have don't know how to value what we have in life.
 Migrant children
Merrill, Klamath County, Oregon. In unit of FSA (Farm Security Administration) mobile camp.
I choose this picture because it shows that at a young age kids start migrating to have a better life.
Striving for Normalcy: Eight boys at Lincoln Bench School. Born in six states. Near Ontario, Malheur County, Oregon. This picture is showing how the eight boys are studying to have a better future.
On the Move: Family who traveled by freight train. Washington, Toppenish, Yakima Valley.
I like this picture because it shows when the family traveled together without leaving someone. It makes me think about the families that have to leave their country to have a better future in other country.
